Ombudsman

Ombudsman is a performance/practical research developed by performer Luciana Paz in collaboration with Matteo Bonfitto, performer and artistic director of  Performa Teatro. In this case the creative process was permeated by an attitude in which both creators were supposed to suspend their judgement in order to enhance their perceptual horizon. In this respect, a sort of active contemplative gaze generated a particular kind of public intervention, which allowed the exploration of a range of different relational dynamics.

This work involved two parts – a performance as well as a workshop – both took place in Porto Alegre, Brazil.
